Goodness.... Somewhat busy! I kinda like the 'costumes" to be a bit more conservative.... But, there you go, Shouting "USA" from the roof tops.

Very Ralph Lauren-ish, isn't it? Ralph always uses American flags in his designs. Lots of red, white and blue.

I'm thinking that they're in response to the spanking he got for his 2012 uniforms....when it got out that they were made in China! That one is only what they'll wear for the opening ceremony.

Looks kinda like the "ugly Christmas sweater" I think they should pick another designer next year. In this case, two strikes and you're out. I cannot imagine a whole sea of them when they come marching in. Not exactly classy looking.

I think it looks very young, hip and artistic, and young people will probably love the jacket. But to me, it isn't formal enough to wear for the opening ceremonies, for the proud march into the stadium, reperesenting your country. I could totally picture the snowboarders marching in wearing it, because they usually have a more bohemian 'vibe.' But the opening ceremony uniform represents all the athletes, so I think if should be more formal. That said, I'm Canadian, so I certainly have no right to complain about another country's uniform.

It does remind me of the "Christmas Sweater"--I don't think that is a terrible thing to look like. They look very festive.

Too much stuff on it! Not classy. I bet some of the competitors aren't too crazy about it either, but who cares, they're goin' to the OLYMPICS!!

Very ugly. Don't know if ours (Canada) have been revealed yet. They're usually done by Roots.

Oh well, apparently ours were revealed in October! Haha, shows how much I pay attention to things. They're not bad! I like the red jackets, I'd wear that.

I like the Canadian ones a lot. I can see them being proud to wear those for a long time. USA's just have too much going on. Ebay, maybe?

"The ugly Christmas sweater" is a perfect description, IMO.

I like the Canadian outfits much better, although the front zippers dividing CAN and ADA are a little disconcerting, even when closed. It might have been better to spell it up or down one side of the garment instead of having that zip in the middle.

I hope the athletes have a great time and everybody comes home safely -- no accidents and no bombs, hostages, etc.

That's a bit busy for opening ceremony. I do like it. I'd like a summer version for the red, white and blue holidays.

Those sweaters will definitely make it so they won't get lost in a crowd. They're so loud! Horrible. Embarrassing. Glad they're not Canadian sweaters. I haven't talked to anyone yet who would go out of their way to buy one.

Now the Canadian uniforms: I always buy something for the Olympics. I can't make my mind up this year. There's so many choices and I like them all. :)

Don't like the whole outfit. The sweater alone cost $585.00. That is $584.00 too much.

I don't care for it at all. This morning there was a report on Olympic security and our team has been told they should avoid wearing anything that identifies them as American when they leave the games' venues.

Then they showed a photo of 8 models wearing the sweaters. I just can't image the image os seeing our entire Olympic team walking together in those sweaters - talk about a kaleidoscope!
