You don't have to sign up thru only Facebook or Twitter to join Pinterest, I used my email address and a password. (Even tho I am on FB too). I just joined Pinterest about a month ago and its totally addictive to someone as photo-obsessed as I am. Most of the old gang here knows how I save pictures. LOL. I mostly lurk here these days since I haven't made any GJ things to share in quite sometime. Life got in the way last year. But I try to keep up with what's going on here, and on the Conversations side of GJ too. Sandy, hang in as this has always been a great Forum. I hope you found our Inspiration Albums with over 1000 photos saved in them, and by categories to make it easy to go to what you want to see. Karen

OMG -- You ARE addicted ! LOL ! Join the club :) Are you putting them outside ? I live in Wisconsin , right in the heart of the midwest - Milwaukee - USA ... and right next to Lake Michigan. Weird weather ! Heat , humidity ,cold temps ,rain and snow . I decided to make a bunch of plate flowers to hang on my bare wooden fence. I have about 20 plates hanging on it . They have braved the weather for 3 years now - all year round with no problem :) I used GE silicone 2 ..... I glued hangers on the back with the silicone also - looking at them , I would bet they last for another 5 years ! I highly recommend it -- I hope they have it by you ! PS - if you are addicted - this is the best place to be !!!

The idea with trying another browser is just to see if Firefox is the problem - if the problem is related to a browser specifically, or if it's something else. I use Firefox myself, but every once in a while something doesn't work well with it. This happens with all browsers, and usually it's been IE that has problems actually. Anyway, the suggestion was just for diagnostic purposes.

I'm in the same boat as you are, Annie, even with my Bachelor degree in Computer Science. I'll ask my husband (a software engineer) about Jasdip's problem with Pinterest. From Straw (Strawberryhill): Pinterest does take time initially to set up one's board. It took me a week to search Food.com and Allrecipes.com for the best recipes to pin on my board. Yes, it takes time to build a board from scratch. But with experienced folks like Nancy, Mabel, and Pat_t who shared their recipes ... one doesn't need to waste time setting up one's board. It's easy to pick a good recipe from someone else's Pinterest board.
