There isn't anything that I haven't tried in my crockpot! I have crockpots in various sizes and shapes. I have big ones for major meals, medium ones for football game parties and small ones for dips and sauces. I especially love a good chocolate recipe cooked in one. Here are a few of mine: Crockpot Sweet-Spiced Sweet Potatoes 2 lbs. sweet potatoes, cut into 1/2" pieces 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp/ ground nutmeg pinch of salt 2 tbsps. butter, cut into 1/8" pieces 1 tsp. canilla extract Combine all of the ingredients except the butter and vanilla, in a crockpot. Mix well. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours. Add butter and vanilla; stir to blend. Makes 4 servings ------------------------------------------------------- Citrus Simmered Steak 2 lb. round steak 1/2 cup drained mushrooms and stems 1 medium onion sliced 2 tablespoons catsup 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon cornstarch Cut round steak into pieces to fit in the crock pot. Put the steak in the pot. Mix together all other ingredients and pour over the steak. Cover and cook on high for about 4 hours or until the meat is done. seems like i got this recipe here and just made it in crock pot rather than oven. You can use any vegitables, any kind of meat, any cream soup, and the golden mushroom dried soup is the best. I think it is the combination of ginger ale and dried soup mix that makes it taste so good. No Peek Casserole 2 lbs stew meat ( i use 3 lbs) 1 can Campbell's Chicken Mushroom Soup 1/2 cup Ginger ale 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix 1 4 oz jar mushrooms, drained (optional) Preheat oven to 300. Combine ALL ingredients (DO NOT brown meat and DO NOT dilute soup with water) together. Mix well. It will be lumpy before it's cooked. Pour into a casserole dish and cover. Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours. DON'T PEEK!! Serve over pasta, rice or mashed potato's. The smell as it's cooking is WONDERFUL Or: any kind of meat, any vegetables you want. Keep the ratio the same on the cream soup (any kind you want), onion soup mix (I use golden onion and itÂs great), and the ginger ale. Dump it all in a crock pot on low for about 5 to 8 hours. Makes any cut of meat tender and the gravy is wonderfulÂbut not enough of it.

Here is my absolute favorite. I like to make a double batch and freeze half for another time. It was a "Supper Suppers" recipe and when they were going out of business I asked them for the recipe and they gave it to me. The below is for a full recipe. I actually like to halve it. Tandoori Pork with Pita (you can also make with chicken) 1 Pound Diced Raw Pork 1 cup diced onions 3/4 cups dried lentils 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/8 cup chopped ginger 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon paprika 1/2 tablespoon ground coriander 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt (optional) 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (optional) 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 teaspoon curry powder Seal and label bag. Place in storage bag and seal. Preparation: Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen, defrost slightly in microwave before cooking. Do not over-microwave, or meat will become tough. Cooking Instructions: Slow Cooker: Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Add 1 cup water. Cook on low for 8 hours. Pita wraps: Preheat oven to 325F. Place pitas on baking sheet and heat 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Fill each pita wrap with pork mixture, or serve with pita wraps on the side. Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens. Sides: Olives, feta cheese
