Don't forget about Puppy Bowl X on Animal Planet, starting at 3:00 (eastern time) and repeating many times.

And this year, for the first time, the Hallmark Channel will host the first Kitten Bowl, starting at noon (I think) and repeating throughout the afternoon and evening.

I can't sit in one place long enough to watch t.v. programs - I miss half the program because I'm always finding something more important to do.

I won't be watching the Super Bowl and I won't be watching the other shows you mentioned, can't get those.

Nice. I highly recommend using a sink grid to protect the bottom of the sink. Beware they do get grungy. But it is possible to ding up the sink, and you can't set a hot pot or anything like that in there for fear of cracking. The grids help.

I'd like the chicken and waffles AND the pulled pork. I wouldn't turn down the cole slaw either. Everything sounds delicious, which is why those leftovers are definitely not a bad thing. The egg rolls sound like a good use for the leftovers, and pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ sauce and cole slaw are a favorite of mine. Good use for those Kaiser rolls of yours, Ricky... The pork could also be used in tamales, quesadillas, arepas or chili, fried rice, used to top baked potatoes or nachos, put it in taco salad or pasta sauce, or just freeze it in individual portions for sandwiches later. Very short but loved the Kia ad with Josh Jacobs. Jacobs was briefly homeless while living with his dad. Drafted in the first round by the Oakland Raiders, Jacobs was a leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, smashing team records as running back. I like the commercials on Super Bowl. DH likes the game, I wait on commercials.

Lol...my intent in posting this thread was to remind people about the Puppy Bowl, something that has been appreciated in past years. I sure missed the mark, lolol.

I'll switch between the puppy and super bowl. Not a super bowl fan since I don't really know either of the teams but after all it is tradition. I love love the puppy bowl and I'll try to catch a bit of the kitten show on Hallmark. Thanks for the heads up. Satine

Thanks rhizo_1 - I hope to be able to see the pups and cats. I hate sports so will not be watching the Super Bowl - but anything with dogs in it, I am in for that part. Now just have to hope that I can get it in Toronto.

Doesn't the game start at 6PM? Puppy bowl at 3. I love puppy's so that should be interesting to me then the commercials for me and game for husband.

Ha! It starts so darned late I'd be asleep before halftime even if I did like pro football--which I don't! I do like the commercials and super bowl food, though.

Some of those kitties were wired up, weren't they? So cute. We're softies when it comes to kittens. Loved the puppies, too.

We're settling in to watch the game, now.

No, not a Super Bowl fanatic, nor any kind of professional sports.

I watched Kitten Bowl, and also saved it in case I want to see it again Also saved Puppy Bowl and will watch it later this evening.

I do like some of the SB commercials, but they will be shown here and there probably.

Just sort of watching. Guess I'm old fashioned but would love to see a halftime with a marching band playing John Philip Sousa music. I was a majorette in high school. One of my favorite marching songs was Glenn Miller's St. Louis Blues March.

Shirtless guys on now. I give up.........

I'm with you wanttoretire. One of my best memories while living back in my home state was watching the University of Michigan Marching Band at half-time---this was back in the late 1950ties. Our high school had a pretty good band with the drum major & majorettes, but they, of course, couldn't compare with the Uni.

And my favorite "exercise record" is The Sound Of A Marching Band in "stereophonic sound" no less!!. 22 minutes on each side full of stirring march music, including Sousa, college march songs, 76 Trombones, Colonel Bogey March, etc. etc. At 44 minutes a couple times a day, I'm exhausted from all my personal marching.

Yep, I miss THOSE half-times.

I thoroughly enjoyed the kittenbowl. I don't know how the announcers keep it together during their commentary or the ref lol. Loved that Regis Philbin joined them for a bit.

I dvr'd the puppybowl, so looking forward to that as well.
