I am not strongly drawn to dessert, but like all three. I rarely make peach or apple, but make blackberry often. Our little wild local variety are considered a real treat by many, in fact I have a dessert pan and carry container here that a friend dropped off for me to fill ' just whenever I feel like it'. I'll try to meet that request in the next few days.

It's a good thing I like to pick the berries (DH too and he's faster) and will go enough for two years worth when we find them to be plentiful. This needs to be a good year, my frozen stash getting on the low side.

Lol I wish I could eat cobbler as a vegetable! I would pick blackberry for sure.

This place was a meat and three, so I had meat, two veggies and instead of a third veggies, had the cobbler and took it home, as it was way too much food at the time.

I'm normally a meat and one, and sometimes two veggies. Rarely ever get a dessert.

So I chose the cobbler for later.

I don't like cooked apples so I'll have peach or blackberry or cherry if it is on the menu. Satine

i wouldn't choose blackberry because of the seeds...I don't like the feel of them in my mouth....and the doc told me years ago not to eat things like that because of my diverticulitis...I don't have that any more but just don't eat it...

I am sure I would have chosen peach but I love apple too.

I love blackberries so I would pick it first and peach second but these days it would only be a few bites if any , I used to love picking the berries and making the cobblers from scratch, one of my favorite deserts.

I would definitely choose blackberry cobbler! Here's an easy and wonderful recipe for blackberry cobbler:

BLACKBERRY COBBLER

1-1/2 sticks (12 Tablespoons) Butter
1-1/2 cups Flour
1-1/2 cups Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
ý teaspoon Salt
1-1/2 cups Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 cups Blackberries (or substitute)
Melt butter in baking dish in oven. Whisk dry ingredients together until mixed. Add the milk and vanilla and pour over the butter in the pan. Use a 9x13" baking dish (sprayed with Pam or greased with butter). Add the berries. Bake at 350àfor approximately 40 minutes. Serve hot, sprinkled with icing (powdered, confectionerâÂÂs) sugar.

I like the way they think at that restaurant!!! I love having 3 choices of 'sides' and I imagine that a dessert substitution is very popular. :)

My choice would probably have been blackberry or peach, but depends on what I had for dinner. lol!

Tart cherry is the favorite in our house, but I also love blackberry, which my son doesn't oke at all (seeds). I like peach cobbler, and never have had apple. There is a place here (was? I don't eat red meat much any more) called BackYard burgers and they have a daily special on cobblers. Different one everyday. Mom likes to go there.

I only like the peach if made with fresh peaches. The ones with canned peaches taste weird to me. I probably would have gone with the berry. Sounds so good!

I love to make a fresh peach cobbler. My daughter loves it and asks for it often.

I like berry anything, cobbler or pie. I also like peach cobbler. In CA, I used to pick wild blackberries along side creeks and make cobblers. I haven't heard of any wild blackberries growing in Iowa.

Mother always made the triple layered peach cobbler. I so loved that kind of cobbler. Takes some work but worth it.

I've never made it, but Paw Paw Patch here makes two layered cobblers that are so good.

All this talk about cobblers... so I reached into the freezer for some homegrown blackberries, but found some homegrown elderberries first and that sounded good! I'm making an elderberry cobbler with a layer of [canned] peaches. That should take care of it. I'll let you know later how it came out. :O)

Its blackberry cobbler for me. In my younger days, mother made the best blackberry clobber. The berries grew wild in pastures and I spent many hours berry picking.

Sadly, most cobblers are off my diet these days. I'm counting carbs to help control my blood glucose. Maybe someday, I'll try making a cobbler with substitute sweeteners. However, the fruit carries a load of carbs which will limit how much I could have per meal, and from experience that would be small compared to my appetite for cobbler. Sigh - I love cobbler.

I prefer crumbles to cobblers, but for a cobbler, I'd pick peach.

I like all three! It would be terrible to choose. Maybe I'd go with 2 others, we'd each order a different fruit and let everyone have a taste!
