Eddie Sounds like you've been very, very busy! Don't work to much harder! Great sounding stock list you have & may they produce many, many new varieties! :) We do NEED them! lol! I went to the doctor's today and I'm going to tell you what I told her. One of the bad things about getting old, is the fact that we tend to blame everything on getting old. Sometimes that's not the cause. Ten years ago I didn't seem to have the stamina that I use to have but I did a lot of entertaining and lots of other social commitments plus the regular chores so I blamed it on getting older. When I went out walking with friends, I got out of breath and blamed it on a sedentary winter and had to build up my stamina. Suddenly I was getting unfamiliar "twinges" in my chest when I was walking uphill. Discussed it with my doctor who then scheduled a stress test. After getting the results, she recommended seeing a cardiologist. Angiogram, angioplasty following. Three blocked arteries, one 90 percent, one 80 percent and the other just beginning to get blocked. Several weeks after the procedure I was like a new person. Ten years later and several years of complaining about losing my stamina, not sleeping well and difficulty breathingÃ¢ÂÂ¦.completely different symptoms although I've been thinking heart, I stopped taking several medications and am feeling 100 percent better than I had been, though not 100 percent better. I am in the process of checking out the heart, not going to blame everything on medications. I'm not suggesting that anyone has heart disease or problems with medications. What I am suggesting is to do a thorough investigation with your doctor, and rule out the possibility of something other than "getting old". Four years ago at age 73, I was walking 5 miles a day, 7 days a week. Than it went down to 3 miles several days a week. Three months ago I would get up in the morning, come into the family room, sit down in front of the T.V. and sit there all day unless I had a luncheon, movie, bridge or whatever obligation to fulfill. One night I realized that some of the symptoms were similar to an experience I had with a medication many years agoÃ¢ÂÂ¦..an aha moment. I stopped taking several of my medications until I get to the root cause, my mental state started getting better, as did my breathing, sleeping and energy level. I started walking again and am walking 4 miles. I still have some shortness of breath and have a stress test scheduled in 10 days. Just something to think about.

Those are very nice. I had one and appreciated the fact that it could go under the bed. Glenda, I didn't use it for a few months, and then when I wanted to use it again, it was dead. Maybe the battery, I'm not sure, but the replacement battery was expensive and I didn't want to buy it and find that it wasn't the battery. So the lesson is, use it regularly! Nice gift you got there!

Presumably you're selecting the (auto-dry) Towels cycle for a towels load? What size is the load? Small loads may not touch the sensor bars consistently or frequently enough for proper operation. Setting the machine slightly off-level toward the front (where the sensor bars are located on the filter housing) can help promote movement of the load toward the bars. Is the load a mix of lighter-weight items with the towels? That can throw the auto dry sensor askew being that it reacts to the average of the load and the lightweight items dry faster. Are other types of loads drying satisfactorily? Is the Eco Dry option turned off? Try the Jeans cycle. Cycles don't necessarily have to be selected for a given load according to the control labels. Some dryers with electronic controls have a service setting to adjust the overall sensitivity toward a more-dry level of performance. You might try to locate service information to determine if an adjustment is available.

I am loving Nomorobo. I only had one "one ring" call today. It is so wonderful not to be interrupted by those darn nuisance calls. I recommend it!

Is there any way to see the list of calls it screened for you? I'd want to know whether I'm missing any 'real' ones. For instance, my sister uses her computer to call me, and I think that one might not make it through.

If the call rings once, it will show up in your list of calls received. I had two "one ring" calls today. In some ways it defeats the purpose, since it always makes me curious who called. So far I have had no complaints from legitimate callers who couldn't get through. My Call Waiting works fine, too.

I just tried to sign up but Time Warner customers are "having troubles signing up at this time. They're working on it". Also can't sign into my TW account, as suggestested. Do the passwords "madashell2" and "frustrated2", that I have written in my password book convey my experience trying to set up the TW account in the first place?

I'll try another time. To late tonight.

Hi breen thumb,

Interesting ... I've never heard of one of those "mada" shells. Are they to be found at the lakes near home in upstate N Y ... or the ocean ... or would one have to travel, somewhere like Hawaii to find one?

Also, now that I'm checking ... would that "breen" be something like about a quarter the way from "green" to "brown"?

Hope you're having better results than that in your gardening ...

... though last summer was something of a bummer around here, north of Lake Erie, what with it being a rather wet, cold spring there was poor sprouting ... and the blight hitting cucumbers and tomatoes.

Good luck for the upcoming(?) summer.

I didn't see your response to my post until just now, Joyful One. Yup, breen is the combination of brown and green. Percentages are variable. We win some and we lose some.

North of Lake Erie, eh? I'm on Lake Ontario, across from Toronto...which is sure keeping our weather people amused this winter. :)
