The alternatives to the Super Bowl!

Don't forget about the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet and the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark channel. Both begin at 12 eastern, 11 central with repeat airings all day long.

Both are very cute....we watch them before the football game.

I have seen a Kitten Bowl ad and I get fixated on those cute cats because they remind me of my little 'petunia'! I had no idea what the ad was for. lol!

They always used to do a golf "skins game" (or was it "skills challenge"?) on Superbowl Sunday, but I haven't seen anything like that in years... do they do those anymore?!

I wish I had time to watch the puppy bowl. By the time I get everything ready for the guys party, which is held here, and ready to head over to the wives party, it is almost game time.

LOL!!!! @ cello music! Dang, yer a quick'un, Major RCG! CONGRATS to Yo Mama and the Giants!!! What a GREAT upset at the last minute!! With 2:something left, I thought the Yorkies were done for. What a fun ending! My favorite commercial was a toss up between Tide's Silence the Stain and Toyota's Badger....ok, and Bridgestone's Screaming Richard Simmons. LOL But Hank the Clydesdale ("Rocky") made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Cars.com's Ring of Fire, etc., commercials were way up there, along with FedEx's Pigeons, Doritos's Kicka$$ Mouse (YIKES! LOL), and (Planter's?) Unibrow Lady. Ok, Charles Barkley's big mouth got a chuckle, too. :D Z-Chick, if you're rarin' to go next Sat. after having surgery today, then showing up at Clancy's is the least we can do! :D Hope you're feeling better soon!!! Bad toothache with an infected loose tooth here. WHAAAA! The dentist scares me a LOT, so wish me luck today....*whimper* Fi guy, thanks SO MUCH for doing this every year!!!! Brenda

I stuck with the tupperware and got these http://www.amazon.com/Progressive-International-Magnetic-Measuring-Cups/dp/B000X5SDB0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1239074010&sr=1-6 I use a spatula to stir/loosen the flour, put the 1 cup in and use the spatula to heap it in to the cup, rest the spatula on the top of the tupperware and scrape the cup under the spatula to level, excess flour falls back into the tupperware. Very short but loved the Kia ad with Josh Jacobs. Jacobs was briefly homeless while living with his dad. Drafted in the first round by the Oakland Raiders, Jacobs was a leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, smashing team records as running back. Lessee...tomorrow's the Big Game. Then what? Two more weeks of rehashing? More?

I will watch football. I know a little about the game. But honestly, by the middle of February...ENOUGH ALREADY!

No party here. No football. No puppies. (I love puppies, but I don't have cable TV.) I'll be going out for bird seed and cat food (and probably more), stacking firewood, and getting ready for another 10" of snow tomorrow into Monday.

This year only reason I will kinda watch the game is to see the commercials.

We are watching the kitten bowl right now on the Hallmark channel. Lots of orange kittens this year, I love them they remind me of my sweet Garfield kitty.

Direct TV has a new channel called dog TV on 354, the minute we turned it to that channel my little dog went to attention and started watching every move, it was amazing because I have never seen her interested in the TV.
We are going to leave it on that channel when we leave the house.
It's pretty boring if you aren't a dog lol. She has been most interested in the segments called stimulation.
