Selection of oranges at the grocery store

I bought a couple of Cara Cara oranges today -- the ones that have a reddish color inside. Haven't hit a seed yet, but the flavor seems kind of blah to me. I thought they'd have a brighter, slightly sweeter taste.

My experience with navel oranges are that the rinds are too thick to peel easily by hand and there are usually many seeds.

Clementines are OK, but I really don't like buying the crate because I usually get through only a handful over a week or so before I see the rest go bad (tho maybe I'm storing them wrong? i just leave them in the crate on the counter).

I don't need an extra juicy orange -- I don't put them in a juicer.

Which oranges do you usually reach for?
