from the complaints "This complaint is concerning StoneDine Cookware, advertised on television. Both the infomercial and the website advertise the product for $29.97 (+25.75 S&H). AFTER you give them your payment ifo, they ask if you would like to pay full price and get free shipping. FULL PRICE?!??!?!? NOWHERE on the website or commercial do they tell you what the full price is. You come to find out it's around $299.00 for the order. Now you're stuck getting the product shipped with no way of cancelling your order. You're stuck having to return the product and you're out $50-something dollars in the process. When you finally find a number to call they tell you they can't cancel your order because it takes 24-48 hours to process, which is BS. When I called a few hours later, they said it was already shipped. How s that possible? This is a total scam geared towards confusing the consumer and getting their card number so they could run up charges. Here is the company website with the false price advertised. http://www.stonedine.com/a2/index.asp";
I noticed in the many comments on that page that some had referred to Amazon having it but in fact the one on Amazon is a sound alike not the same brand, it is stoneLine, which was also brought up.
Ok I called to check out these pans. Which they told me the total price. I thought about it. Oboy that alot of money. I went ahead an brought them.. Now I'm so glad I did. They are great pans, you do get your money worth. I just wish they had them a long time ago. It would have same me a lot of time and money. I'm a chef an glad to have them.
It's on the web site (hidden in fine print on the bottom). The site says they charge you 29.9 to TRY the pans for one month +27.35 for S+H. In the fine print below it says...
*Offer Details: With this exclusive offer you can try StoneDine for the low price of only $29.97 plus S&H. If you're delighted with and keep your cookware, just make 9 additional payments of $29.97. Your total for all payments is $299.97 + S&H.
How is it hidden in fine print when it says right there above the price in big black letters TRY STONEDINE FOR 30 DAYS? And then again, a little further down in large letters STONE DINE 30-DAY TRIAL is 29.97? And both have little stars to direct you to the details which say if you like it and you want to keep it you can pay 9 additional payments of 29.97. That's not false advertising, it's perfectly clear and easy to read. And I've seen the commercial and I'm sure the commercial also says something about 9 payments of 29.97. The key is that you have to pay attention.
