Nancy, she had a beard and mustache that was a mix of lavender and teal. She had watched a bit while I made the cake and my DH gave her a little crumb of the cake saying "cake." She can already say cat so cake wasn't much of a stretch and she came to him asking "cake". She knew what cake was - but at the party she didn't recognize it all covered with frosting. We gave her the top block. At first she was very tentative but once she had gotten a taste of the frosting she got more into it and then when she found the chocolate cake inside she dug in. We had the party at the park so afterwards she was taken to the water spigot and rinsed off. She was reasonably tidy with it - just her hands and face. There was no question who was the cake decorator at the party with a purple and teal thumb. That paste food color can be persistent. I still have a spot of teal that has bonded with my thumbnail.

jvanderh, the trick to pink macaroni and cheese is to put food coloring in the water when you bake the pasta, and more food color into the cheese sauce. Oh, and it helps to use white cheddar, gruyere and asiago, they're strong enough to taste like cheese, they melt well and they're white, LOL. Madi (Ashley tells me it's NOT Maddie, LOL) started walking at about 10 months old. She's in a hurry and runs everywhere. Her mother was a "climber", I remember her pulling out drawers and climbing up like a ladder so she could sit on the counter and eat the butter. Ahem. The first thing Madi did with one of the presents was drag it over to a chair and use it as a step to get onto the chair and then onto the table where the cake pops were. Since Bud is the only boy on both sides of the family, we're hoping for a boy cousin for him. The girls are "too bossy", he says. (grin) Sharon, they are growing too fast. (sigh) Both Bud and Makayla will still sit on my lap, but they're getting too darned big to fit. Makayla is now 4'5". My Mother is 4'9". Yes, mom does have her hands full. The twins were 1 the 19th of february and she just had a new baby girl the 19th of April. They had tried numerous times to get the other 3 with invitro and the last baby girl came along on her own.. Grandma helps all she can. They also have a 6 years old... They just had to buy a new SUV that would fit all of them.. Hmmm.

To my knowledge there is no kit, BUT, you can make up a scrapbook without much money. Places like Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's etc have pages that will fit a regular 8 1/2x11 notebook. You can buy either card stock from craft stores or Staples. You can find scrapbook magazines at stores for ideas. Watch for sales for supplies. Ask the sales people for help. Scrapbooking is as expensive or cheap as you make it. You can buy all sorts of things to put on pages. Some cities have scrapbooking clubs. There are people who sell materials to small groups of people and will teach you (and try to get you to buy only their brands) . There is so much on the internet that is free (patterns etc) and low cost supplies. Ask around your town/city. Garage sales sometimes will have magazines and supplies. Thrift stores will have craft supplies. You can use anything you want to in making scrapbooks. Yes, even the Dollar stores have supplies, and yes I have seen John Deer supplies, but by using a notebook it can be added to through out the year. And much cheaper. Just ask your friends, check notices on bulletin boards, in the paper etc and start slow and have fun!!!!
