Do you know anything about coconuts????

The last whole coconuts I bought shrunk. They wer not to eat...I paint on them. My daughter has a cococut I painted when she was born over 3o years ago, it's light now but only reduced in size a little. The last two I painted reduced to about the size of a baseball and had to be tossed out. Does anyone know if I need to get a special kind, or dry them a special way to keep them for years?

I'm new at this...but my friend said the Kitchen Table is the best place to go, and has lots of nice people on it. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sealady. You've found the KT, but you're at the image gallery part. This is just where folks post pictures.
Try going to my link which is the "discussions" side of the Kitchen Table. Post your question there.

Here is a link that might be useful: Kitchen Table discussions...
