I have the same trouble.
I want under cab lighting and want to use LED or Xenon. I just don't know what components to buy.

Can I/we see more pics of your kitchen? It's looking beautiful.

We used WAC Xenon light strips for our under cabinet lighting. They were hardwired in and on standard dimmer switch, though each unit can also be controlled by a switch on the unit.

Did your electrician hardwire for under cabinet lights before you did the wallboard, backsplash, and cabinet installation?

Ours look like Katsmah's, but I am not sure if they are the same brand. This was all determined on our electrical walk-thru and I admit, I probably had become a bit overwhelmed by the time we got to the kitchen. I told the builder and electrical sub, "I just know I want some lights under my counters!". They are all hardwired with a dimmer....I can use a wall switch for all, or I can turn each on individually. I love them.

I used the same kichler light as suzannes1 and the provide nice light. They come 12, 18, and 22 inch widths in white , bronze or silver. They have a built in transformer so you do not have to worry about mounting on somewhere else. They are direct wire and can be dimmed, although there are not so super bright that they need dimming.

I am curious about LED Hafele under cabinet lighting. Does anyone have any opinions/experience? How does it compare to Kitchler?

Someone posted a while back on LED under cab lights that are dim able and the light is angled back so that they can be mounted near the front edge of the cabinet. I have been trying to search for the brand name as well.

Yep, I posted about the angled lights. They are LED undercabinet lights made by Philips and line voltage dimmable (no transformer). We really like the way they cast the light back against the backsplash and down on the countertop.

Thanks Billy. How did you buy them? Did you call the number or find them at a retailer? Do you mind sharing how much they cost? I, too, am interested in finding a great UCL in LED.
