How to remove polymer grout from tile surface?

I haven't posted any final pictures of my remodel yet because there's polymer grout just EVERYWHERE. Floors are practically ruined (we came home to find out that they forgot to put down paper before getting started, yay).

I've contacted the manufacturer of the grout for insight on how to remove the grout from the vinyl. They were no help. As I'm using the kitchen more and more, I see that there is grout still stuck to the tile surface, too. The contractors were supposed to come back as long ago as September to clean up. It's December and not a word.

Is there some sort of buffing bit that I can put on my power drill to scrub this off? I've tried going after it with a 3M Doodlebug erasing pad, but nothing more abrasive than that. I've been able to remove some of the worst spots from the vinyl with a butter knife and patience, though at this rate, I'll be 80 and still scooting around on my behind on the kitchen floor.

Thanks!
