Cutting Caesarstone after installation

Our stove is completely dead and we unfortunately have realized that the stove opening in our Caesarstone countertop is less than the standard 30 inch stove size, for reasons that aren't important. Does anyone know if it is possible for the counter to be recut while it is installed? The counter was installed two years ago and needless to say the contractor hasn't responded to me.

Many thanks!
