I think you've nailed the going rate. I'm going with Sea Pearl Quartzite. Got three slabs - need 115 sq ft, but with the patterning of the slabs, I really needed to go with three (I'll have some left over maybe for a small vanity)

Anyway, through some strange circumstances I was able to purchase the stone independent of the fabricator. I paid $50 sq ft, and then fabrication quotes have come in between $50 and $65 sq ft.

I sourced kind at Everest Marble in Norwalk. I believe they have a place in NJ too. And Yes, that 120.00 installed sounds about right.
