Filterless Hood?

Merry Christmas!!

When we were shopping for an undercabinet hood, we saw this filterless hood from XO and I was wondering whether any of you knows anything about this hood. We are going to duct to the outside (about 5 feet).

If the system works, cleaning would be a breeze according to the salesman.

RE: Filterless Hood?

I have the Zephyr Typhoon hood which is very similar to the XO hood that you linked. The hood works reasonably good. I don't have cabinets flanking the hood cabinet. I'm sure that the hood would work even better if I did.

It definitely is very, very easy to clean. No sharp edges, no nooks & crannies. Just a quick spray w/ a grease cutter & wipe it down. I totally love how easy it is to clean.
