i'd pretty much given up on my long dreamed for kitchen reno, but will be replacing the counter tops. they're sitting on top of new-to-me cabinets i quite like, even if they weren't made for the space and there are some gaps.
anyway today the carpenter we're using for some other stuff mentioned that he's been making zinc counters for his own home and did i want him to make some for me? he has the machine to fabricate and installed them over the existing formica and i'm invited to come see them.
maybe it's silly to have killer counters in my tiny salvage kitchen but i think i will!
