OT - Photoshop help

Wondering if any of you photoshop experts would be willing to help. I have Elements 8.0 but have not a clue about it; one of those things I keep telling myself I need to sit down and conquer but don't. We are trying to help a friend design an ad for his restaurant to put in a hockey program for my sons school.

Can anyone explain, in elements for dummies language, how I can take a picture off his website and either write in fancy writing myself to put in the words or import words from his business card or website to describe and show his name and info.

Sorry for the OT post, I just know there are many of you here that know this program well. I've spent hours this weekend trying to do it myself. Please email me if you think this should be kept off the forum.

Thank you!

Hi Sandra,

Will the image be used on the web? If you're going to print an image from the web the quality will probably be very poor.
