On our cabinet drawers that are 36" and 42", we want to install two handles/pulls on each drawer. What are the guidelines for placement or is it strictly an eyeball/preference thing? How far apart do you set the two handles on each drawer?
Follow-Up Postings:

In our 37" drawer base the pulls are 18.5" apart, measured from the center and on our 40" drawer base they are 19.5" apart, also measured from the center.

Did you learn more on spacing? I'm also wondering.
|
On our 36" drawer base they are set in 9" from the sides with 18" between them in the middle.

I truly think it's an "eyeball" thing. I had my DH and DD hold the pulls against the drawers until I found what looked right. On our 32" drawers the handles are 9" in from the sides and there's 11" between the hardware.
