I could see doing the simpler edge if your main counters had a triple ogee superstacked overwhelmingly friliy edge, but a 1/2 bullnose is simple enough. I think you are correct and they should be the same.

I don't know if there is a "standard", though.

I have mitered edges on mine, and the pass-through was done to match.

If you are using 2cm granite, your 1/2 bullnose will be made from built-up edges (a strip of granite glued on to the bottom of the counter to make the edge thicker). You may or may not want that on the pass through.

My home has ogee edging on the counters, but a single thickness eased edge on the windowsill. On our condo, the pass through has a single thickness eased edge on the sink side, and a built-up bullnose edge on the other side (it's a narrow breakfast bar).
