Is this kind of crack ok? (Kitchen cabinet door)

I would appreciate advice particularly from pros...

We had kitchen cabinets installed about a month ago, and just recently 2 doors fell out. In each case one screw that was holding the soft close hinge just snapped and broke. The contractor is fixing them and in fact involving the manufacturer (Armstrong/Echelon) rep to see what's going on.These are semi-custom, cabinets are plywood, no particule board.

I started looking closer at all the cabinet doors and noticed that some of them have cracks in the door frames near the hinges as pictured. They are not very big but cracks nonetheless, not superficial scratches. Is that a big deal? Should I be concerned and request replacement??

And also any guesses what might be causing the cabinet doors to just fall off? We are certainly not hard on them, just 2 adults in the fam and the odd don't get into those cabinets at all.

Thanks in advance!
