We are in the middle of getting new granite counter tops and it has been a complete nightmare. We used prefab granite and when contractor installed it the second piece is higher than the larger side. He said he is going to buff it down. UGGG BUT a even bigger problem is that he drilled the faucet hole and it is not centered. It is off about 1/4 of an inch. Is there anyway to have him cut the circle a little bit more to the left and fill the wrong side in? If anyone has any suggestion I sure would appriciate it. Thank you!

Usually there is some wiggle room, when you actually put the faucet in you should be able to move it if its just 1/4 inch.Try placing it in first.

unfortunately anyone working with prefabs is not a real fabricator and problems like yours are common. prefabs are cheap but you get what you pay for.
