Room for faucet

I am having a problem with my quartz countertop for my two level island. I have a small sink in it and want the quartz to go on the rise. It will either just fit or I may be sorry. The counterop people are not any help{{gwi:807}} and I wish I never went with them so I am turing to this forum. My sink is a kraus sink and I have a delta cassidy faucet. My question is how much space would the minimum be of countertop showing between the faucet and sink? I have a kraus sink for my main sink and they match. I could buy the Blanco sink which would give me an additional .75 inches and postpone my countertop installation and they would not match. They are being fabricated in the next day or so. As of now there is .75 inches of countertop showing.
