What silverware for a new kitchen?

Posted by Crampon (My Page) on

My wife and I are looking for some new silverware for our new (or in-progress anyway) kitchen. We're looking for something clean and modern, maybe Scandinavian-ish. Does anyone have anything that they especially like?

Check with Crate and Barrel.
I bought some sleek silverware in 1992 that I still love to this day. They had to be big enough for my husband's huge hands, (size 10 ring) but small enough for mine (size 4). Unfortunately, I don't think they make mine anymore. Given they're not traditional patterns, these stores tend to change things up.

Another good choices is Williams & Sonoma.

the only recommendation I have is if you have a dishwasher to makes sure they fit. I bought some silverware with wider handles and my dishwasher has slots for the silverware. They don't fit.

Try this website. Very helpful information.

Here is a link that might be useful: Also have made in America stainless, unlike other vendors
