No pulls - someone will try to pull them open :-)

We had two of those fake drawer fronts before we remodeled. The one in front of the sink had a nameplate of the cabinet manufacturer; behind the one in front of the Jenn-Air cooktop were the grease jars for the grill. The cooktop one did have a pull on it, and I think it would have looked odd without the pulls.

In our new kitchen, we have a tip-out in front of the sink (the subject of several threads on this site) and a drawer under the cooktop, which is a huge help for storing potholders, some stirring tools, splatter screens, and other thin items. Both of those have pulls on them because they're no longer "fake" drawers. Yay!

You have to balance the "looks odd without pulls" against the "someone will pull on it" and the "could snag my clothes while cooking"

I've gone both ways on this issue, and usually end up buying the pulls, then making the call after the others are installed. (You can always put them on -- taking them off leaves holes...)

When I did the final walk-through on my home, I immediately noticed that they had not put pulls on the fake drawer fronts in front of the sink and cooktop. It looked odd to me so I pointed it out. The ommission simply stood out too much for me.

They added matching pulls and I think it looks much better.

Sweeby's suggestion is good though; if you're not sure how it will look, then leave them off. If you don't like the look after trying to live with it a while, then you can add them later.
