What's there is pretty updated. I wouldn't change it at all. The biggest issues that your kitchen has is an over abundance of earth tones. Go invest in some Fiestaware and put that behind the glass doors and get a Kitchenaid in a bright color, like the red. All your space needs is a big shot of color.

I agree with exactly what green designs said! But choose a color you love if not red.
