Does my island pendant need to match my table chandelier?

I have a Pottery Barn Celeste Chandelier over my kitchen table--can I use a Restoration Hardware Classic Clemson in satin nickel right next to it? My hardware, appliances and faucet are stainless steel or satin/brushed nickel.
