faucets - ORB vs. brushed nickel?

Hi,
(I searched already couldn't find this anywhere).

I've finally picked my faucet - going with the Grohl Bridgeford dual spray.
I can't decide between the ORB and brushed nickel.
My old faucet was brushed nickel - I'm wondering if the ORB is harder to keep clean?
I'm assuming spots and things would show up more...or do things "stick" to the finish more than a brushed nickle? I do clean my kitchen but have 3 smallish kids who can be messy.

I'd just like to pick the finish that is easier to clean, if there is such a thing. Appreciate any advice!

If it matters - sink is a Franke Grande stainless
hardware is ORB
cabs are a cherry stained maple w/ glaze
granite counters "Spider gold"

I've had both and can't say either was worse or better than the next as far as keeping clean. Get what you like best.

ORB is a living finish that will age and patina with time, while the brushed nickel is coated and looks the same forever.
FYI check to see if the Bridgeford you want has the locking spray, mine does not, and it drives me crazy!

I've got both finishes and I'm on well water (I.e. severe mineral deposits) and they both look the same.

If I don't wipe them down, they have spots, if I do clean them, they look nice.

I say go with what you like. There is no faucet finish, IMHO, that is going to hide dirt/grime/mineral deposits. If their was, I would be the first one in line!!!

Love your granite and cabinet color!

I think ORB for the faucet if that is what your hardware is. I have one and no issues at all with cleaning it, spotting or anything else.

I agree to go with what you like. I don't think you need to match your faucet to the hardware.

I had a question about your granite and if in fact it is granite and not marble. It's VERY pretty but I would be concerned like so many stones that are mislabeled by dealers Have you done etch testing etc.

With all your other choices I'd pick the ORB.

Aloha - the picture is sort of deceiving -
The granite, which is called "spider gold"
At the warehouse is, from what I understand,
A ghibli granite. I have not seen it anywhere
else and the owner of the warehouse hand picked
the pieces in India himself. (Not that that makes
It not a marble). It is reminiscent of some ghibli
that I have seen online, and is supposed to be one
Of the harder granites.
That being said - it was the one piece I couldn't
get a sample of...so I hope I am not making a
crazy and costly mistake!
My fabricator has the granite in his shop and
has seen it...he didn't say anything. I was thinking
of posting and asking her what she thought.
