how to cut stainless steel backsplash to fit behind 30" range?

Hello,
I really love the backsplash in this kitchen:

They used 1x2 stainless steel staggered tiles as a back splash behind the cook top. i would really love to to this behind our range, but not sure how to cut the stainless steel tiles, especially that they come in 12" sheets and we only need to fill 30". My husband just purchased a tile saw and we successfully used in to lay our porcelain floor tile, does SS requre a special blade? how to secure the edges after, so they are not sharp?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I guess you can use a wet saw.

I can't figure out how to copy and paste on the iPad, it just takes me back to this thread so I can't see exactly which pattern.

But anyway, there is probably a prefabricated tile you can use. You can probably find them for less somewhere, but these are pretty reasonable when you consider how long it will take to cut all those tiles and smooth the edges.
