Yesterday my daughter and I had dinner at the home of friends. They had just bought this beautiful place as a weekend home. Behind this shot is an enormous island with calacatta marble top. This is the first home I've been in with a stainless counter. It's gorgeous and seemed perfect in the very contemporary kitchen. It appeared to be a single piece from the lower right corner near the fridge all the way to the angle by the stove. The integrated sink appeared to be totally seamless. If welding was involved, it was invisible. Even the seam by the stove, angling back, was something I had to look for to see.
