Moving forward with our house plan. Any suggestions on arranging things in the kitchen? thanks

I like it, depending on the width of the aisles between fridge/island and ovens/island. A few quick suggestions:

-- Move the DW to the other side of the sink, so that people can access it without getting into your prep and cooking zone.

-- Put deep uppers over the fridge and make the cabinet to the right of the fridge a full-height, full-depth pantry cab or broom cab.

-- Consider making the island flush instead of having the raised bar. It will make your space a lot more usable, e.g. if kids want to spread out a project to work on, if you want to sit with a laptop over coffee, etc.

Good luck with your new kitchen and new home!
