i'll have to take some pics of my still-not-finished kitchen, but i have the ice box latches from cliffside industries and -no kidding, they are The. Best. Thing. Ever! my cabinets are beaded and for some reason i remember having some sort of conversation with the cabinet maker ...and i showed him the latch and he told me the latches would work out just fine. i have them on double as well as single doors.

i mixed my hardware: the latches, some drop pulls, lots of handle pulls, cup pulls and (why not?) even some crystal knobs. you should really buy one of the cliffside latches. when my sample arrived i couldn't put it down! everyone notices them when they see the kitchen.

Kate - thanks so much! Your kitchen sounds amazing - can't wait to see pics! Did you use any latches on any upper cabinets? We only have two upper cabinets and I'm trying to figure out if I do bin pulls and icebox latches on the lower cabinets what I should do for the uppers... Thanks so much and for the link - the cliffside website had those latches at $45 or so.
