Boston or New England area Soapstone owners

I installed soapstone counters in my kitchen a year ago and I think they may have been too polished before being installed. I've read a number of threads on Gardenweb on the topic of refinishing and I'm beginning to think that refinishing/rehoning might be a good choice for us. Has anyone had their soapstone counters refinished in the Boston or New England area? We had a bad experience with our fabricator and I'd love to go with someone recommended. Any help is appreciated!

I haven't had this done myself, but I know that Dave Brushett (Central New England Soapstone) does this and he travels all over Massachusetts
