I have the faucet in the link and love it. You can set it to send water both ways at the same time, so one person could use the water from the side arm spout while another preps using the handheld sprayer, which reaches quite far. You can have water ONLY to the side arm, ONLY to the hand spray, or both, depending how you set it. However, you get the SAME water when it's coming out both, so you can't spray cold water out the sprayer if hot water is coming out the spout.

I think two faucets in one sink would be too much. It is possible to do it, though. You're going to have a lot going on underneath in terms of plumbing, though.

We are getting 2 faucets for our sink. Cutout is 44". Yours may be a little small for 2 faucets. Can you get a bigger sink?

The Stages 45 sink is 45" but only 33" of that is the deep part of the bowl, the rest is for the drainboard part of the sink (or raised platform). The official picture has 2 faucets so you can look at that and imaging it without the drainboard part.

I have a regular faucet and a hot/cold faucet on a 30" sink. The cold water on the hot/cold effectively lets a second person get water when someone is using the other faucet. Of course, the force of the water is not the same since the flow is much less, but it works for us. It's not a full-on kitchen faucet but it is the next best thing. I hadn't actually planned on this but it is a nice side benefit to the hot/cold.
