Just got back from slab yard...bianco pearl?!!

I saw this slab that looked very very much like a white macabaus-light gray/white with horizontal striations. Was told it was a 'white granite' and that they call it 'bianco pearl.' It is priced at 85 sq. ft installed...could this be white mac? Or is there a white mac look alike that is infact a granite. I will update this with a picture on monday as I am going to go back and take a peek again...it really is amazing-the horizontal veins are really nice!!!! Thoughts?

Sounds lovely! Post a picture or two and I can help you determine if it's quartzite or granite. It sounds exciting no matter what though!
