are you folding over about 2/3'rds down so you have a double thickness tab sticking out of the drawer that does not have a sticky side exposed? Then the 1/3 sticky part gets taped inside the drawer and over the lip. The double thickness folds down over the top.

our cab guy used the grey duct tape..he took about a 4-6 inch piece and folded it over (place you would grab) and put the sticky part on the top center part of drawer or the middle of the cabinet door....if you have heavy rollouts I would place 2 pieces in case on falls off and you can't the roll out open again. check out our photobucket for pics...

Leave them longer on the 2nd and 3rd drawers and you do have to hold them while the drawer above closes. I put a piece of string through the center of tape and left it long this helped quite a bit. Hope things are going better for you!

Remodelfla--Yes, that's what I've done. They work pretty well with a conscious and firm grip, but they just get tucked in when I close the drawer above.

Cjc--Yeah, I've been holding them. Kind of a pain. Your tip about the string should do the trick. Thanks for that and for the good wishes. My computer and wifi aren't hooked up yet so DH has been bringing his laptop home for me. I miss you guys! And things are starting to settle here with the move.

I lived with mine so long breezy that they would eventually tear and we'd just make new ones that would last a week or so. The string idea is great! If I ever get to do another kitchen... I'll remember that one!
