Thanks so much for all the hand holding and ideas on the laundry area. I think I have it worked out (side x side, under counter. Maybe pocket doors, maybe not).

So here is my proposed lighting plan. They are all recessed lights, except the green dots, which are pendants over island.

Each color represents a different switch to control the lights. I have the food pantry on a different switch, but maybe it should just be with the yellow circuit?

These are the pendants I have chosen for island. They are 13" wide. The island is 109" x 46", so should I opt for 3 lights? I ordered 2, but I can quickly order one more fom OKL.
