I have had two Kohler Vinnata faucets. Learn from my experience. The first one wasn't sealed at the joint with the countertop. It rusted below the counter and the mounting that held it to the counter rusted and cracked at the stem. Total failure. Partially my fault. I didn't check the plumber's work. The lifetime warranty didn't cover this failure. Be sure to use some silicone caulk around the the countertop joint.

I bought a second Vinnata to replace the first. It has a small plastic gasket on the handle/control that cracks under pressure. Once it cracks, the handle works it's way loose. Kohler has been great about sending me replacement gasket's, twice. At least I know what the problem is and how to fix it.

Other than those experiences, it's been fine. I think that you could find something else for less money that would suffice. When it fails, at least you haven't put a lot of money into it. You would think paying more means better results, but I am not so sure.

Thanks for your words of warning. I am also looking at a Delta. Hmm.

I have one of each, and IMO the big one is better proportioned, because the gooseneck is the same diameter tube, and it looks a little heavy on the small prep sink size.
Mine have been performing perfectly well since 2006, BTW.
