This is probably not an error. Usually the trash pull-out is from another company - there are several that make these systems. Rev-A-Shelf is probably the most common, but there are others that are good, too. They are all good and work well. Yours should be fine.

Thanks for the reply momj47 I have kraftmaid cabinets and it does not slide open very easy. I greased it and made sure there no kinks or bends in the runner. It has to be pulled out and pushed in. You can;t just push it in.

Now that's not right. Maybe it's not installed in the cabinet correctly. Are the tracks too close together? I think they have to install the tracks, etc, when they assemble the cabinet. You will need to have the installer take a look at it.

I have Adelphi Cabinets, and my trash pull-out looks like this from Rev-a-Shelf, and slides very easily.

My neighbor has one like this and hers slides very easily, too. Since her cabinets were made by a small custom cabinet maker, I know he had to buy the pieces and install them in the cabinet after he built the cabinet.
