We don't have Vetrazzo but we do have a recycled terrazzo countertop. I love it. We've had it just over one year.

In terms of real life usage, there is one chip on the inner rim by the sink. There are also a few "air bubbles" in a few places throughout the counter (minimal) that bother me, but only when I think about them. They are sort of like tiny holes. Mostly I don't think about them.

I do love the look and it's otherwise highly functional. I generally don't use anything more than soap and water on a sponge to clean. On the one hand, the pattern is so busy that it hides dirt / crumbs well, on the other hand, it hides it so well that it can be hard to see! I have to stoop down and get eye level with the countertop sometimes to really see the crumbs/dirt to wipe it off.

Would I do it again? Yes. Would I do my cork floors again? That's another post for another day... :)
