Hansgrohe prep faucet in main sink?

Hi -
I posted a few days ago about using a modern faucet in a traditional white kitchen (shaker door style + bin pulls + soapstone). The opinions were that it was ok, and I think it's ok too.

I prefer smaller faucets for looks and the fact that they produce a shorter water stream, which I find easier to deal with for most tasks.

I'd like to know whether the Hansgrohe Focus *prep* faucet would be OK for my main sink. (I only have 1 sink.)

I guess my questions are:
- Am I crazy for wanting a prep faucet? Will the lower spout height really cause problems with pots? I know that the larger Delta Trinsic 'main sink' faucet only has a spout height of ~8.5" whereas the Hansgrohe (above) has a height of ~8". (Hansgrohe's prep faucets seem uncommonly large.)
- Does the Hansgrohe have a metal wand?
I'm hoping it does, and that's why I would chose this one over the Moen/Delta.

sink (25"w X 22"back to front X 9" deep):

Any opinions on using prep faucets as well as the hansgrohe brand would be greatly appreciated.
