I just had the same problem when I posted a photo on a travel forum. Someone notified me that my name was there.

Go to "View Library", on the right under the links for posting pics, see the words "Update Photo Links", then click on the "Personal" tab, then scroll down and you'll see a section where your name and other info may have been entered at some point, delete the info in there and click "Apply" or "Save". Now just your ID should show when people view your pic or vist your page.

Thanks Schoolhouse, but that doesn't work. I didn't enter any personal info. It's just that my user name is my name (stupidly).

I see a way to scramble the link codes but can't figure out if I scramble it all now (after the posting) if it will undo all my links and I will have to re-post them all.

Oh I'm sorry, I read your post wrong. Well I think Photobucket is a site where you can't change your ID, but it never hurts to contact them directly. They are good about answering inquiries.

I just went through the same thing. You'll have to create a new account (with a less obvious user name!), load the pictures in the new account and then delete the old account.

Unfortunately It's the only way to get rid of your user name.

Yup. That's what I did!

Then you can go into your reveal thread and 'edit' the post to change the pic to all your new links.

Yup- did that too. What a pain, though!
