I was over at the Julien website and discovered that not only can I have the sink size I want (a double sink with L15" and R 18"), I can also add a 24" drainboard!! I plan to undermount the sink under granite.

I would like to have the drainboard to the left of the sink. This is where the DW will be. No, it would not be a loss of counter space as presently, I have a dish drying rack above the dishwasher.

I found that the dish drying rack doesn't slope quite enough and water pools in the tray. So, I've had to place styrofoam risers to raise the two back feet of the tray. By using a drainboard, I am hoping to eliminate the tray (rack goes directly over drainboard) and the styrofoam risers.

Question: Will the drainboard fit in the space over the DW? Julien said that the drainboard is R 0.88" and L 0.6" in depth (top to bottom).
