Which air switch- does it matter?

I am making final kitchen purchases.. Any advice on which air switch?

Mine are InSinkErator. They're very common. So common that I'm not sure what other brands make them! Available at the box stores even.

I also have InSinkErator air switches. They're low profile, work great, shine up nicely when cleaning and they get the job done. :-)

Same here, works great! I got the nickel finish for my stainless sink and it matches perfectly.

Insinkerator. I don't know if they function any better than the cheaper ones but I felt some store brand ones and the buttons were plastic. I'm sure the better brands are OK too but you CAN go too cheap. At least you can if you are biased against metal-look plastic (yes I have a hard time buying a new car these days!).

I also have the Insinkerator. It comes with 3 different button colors to match most sinks. It works really well.
