Not an answer to your question, but have you considered moving any of your doorways, particularly the exterior door? You've got some serious traffic flow through that space.

Well, I would definitely suggest adding a kitchen sink to whatever layout you choose.

You need to tell us where the other doorways are and what they lead to. It looks like you were getting rid of some of them in option 2 but that just may be the angle of the picture.
