Dramatic $/sq ft. difference.

Does anybody know why Daltile Matte 4.25 x4.25 in Pearl White retails for $1.87/sq. ft. and Daltile Natural Hues 4.0 x4.0 in Pearl White (also a matte finish) retails for $15.36 /sq. ft.?

Matte is made in El Paso, TX and Natural Hues is made in Spokane, WA, so it's not even a US vs, Mexico thing.

I like a particular shape available only in the Natural Hues, and prefer the 4" square over the 4.25" *very slightly* scale wise for a particular project...but Not at an Eight Fold difference in price.

I can't think of any reason not to combine the shaped Natural Hues with the regular old Matte for the rest.

Any insight as to why one would be 8x the price of the other?
