kitchen remodel

I am remodeling my kitchen and I would like to save my old cabinets and put them in the basement for extra storage. The shelf and plastic box system I currently use is annoying. Has anyone done this? Does the cost of having someone install them make it worthwhile? Or will i regret it like i do with the rolls of old carpet taking up space on the floor! haha!

We used ours in the garage. DH and a neighbor put them up. Not too hard.

They aren't hard to install yourself. Look up "french cleat" installing method.

If you can get them down without damage, the storage is always nice to have.
