Cabinet Pulls - Chrome vs. Brushed Nickel

Interested in your thoughts on pros/cons/preferences. How much effort will it be to keep it looking nice?
Chrome would look good when first installed, no doubt - I'm doing all handles, 33 total, in a small 12x7.7 kitchen. White cabinets and appliances, and light granite.
Faucet will be chrome and sink, stainless (I think! another discussion topic)
No kids.
