Can't match my granite, what other granite should I pick?

HI,
This is my first post. I recently moved to a home with a bordeaux type granite and cherry stained cabinets with black bead and cherry crown moldings.
I would like to change the island and also put a breakfast ledge on the wall between my family room and kitchen area.
The problem is, I have no idea what type of granite I have. It is similar to crema bordeaux, but more pink/salmon in color.
I have been to a few warehouses to see slabs, but none of the slabs look like what I have.
I am thinking if I can't find a match, I will just get an absolute black or galaxy black island.
My question is, would it be odd to have another color island granite and breakfast ledge?
Also, I really like Ogee edging, but the granite counters are half bullnose.
Would that be odd as well to have different color granite and different edging as well.

I think that if you find a different granite, you could easily change the edging too. I would check on Houzz to see pics of two different granites used together. What is your flooring? I would just want to stay away from something that would make your kitchen too dark.

Can you post some photos?

Hi, Thanks for the responses.

I have tumbled porcelain floors that look very similar in color and texture to travertine.

I am posting a picture of the granite that I have. This is the island that I want to change out.
I don't particularly like the granite because it is very porous and just not smooth.

Here is a picture of the cabinets, but it is hard to get a picture of everything and the coloring doesn't look quite right.

Before you replace it I would have a fabricator or other granite expert take a look at it. Perhaps it just needs to be sealed.

Can you post a close up?

Here is a picture of the ledge.

Thank you. I want to replace it to make it a little larger, it is still functional.
Looking at the original floorplan of the house, the island was supposed to be 36 X 72, but the original owners made it 25 X 72, so I just want to have a larger island.
I had previously seen a home with the same floorplan that had the original island size and I really liked the way it looked.
I will probably have to have someone come and refinish the counters though bc there are nick and chips throughout it.
Since we are adding the ledge already, I figured we should also do the island since the pricing is coming less than I had expected.
Here is a partial closeup. I was actually taking a picture of the carpet, but it's the best one I have with no flash.
