| We moved out of our house in January/February to a rental house nearby, close enough to drop in by our real house daily to see the progress. We totally emptied the house and stored everything. Everything in the kitchen is brand-new. Some of the furniture we ordered isn't there yet.
It doesn't feel like a stranger's place, exactly. It looks like our stuff but in a different setting. Which, of course, it is. And I like that setting. It's just...weird. |

| That's how I felt when we moved out of our house. We moved out for 6 months for a whole house reno and so my entire house was on a sample board. I had no idea what it would look like or feel like when we moved back in. It took me a while to get used to it and over a year to have it completely finished with the final touches. I do love the finished product. It's still my home, just better. |
